Gustav Lundgren is one of Sweden's most prominent jazz guitarists right now. He was born in Stockholm 1980, started to play guitar at age 12. He studied music in Stockholm, Bollnäs and Svalöv between 1996-2000. Gustav started to play at clubs around Stockholm at age 16 and made his first tour to Spain with his own trio at age 19. Between 2000-2011 Gustav toured Japan, USA, Indonesia, England, Brazil, France, Syria, Turkey, Scotland, Slovakia, Spain, Italy, Latvia, Sweden, Denmark, Norway & Finland with different jazz groups. He has recorded over 45 CDs as a side man and 7 solo albums. Gustav Lundgren has been working with names like: Jimmy Rosenberg, Jorge Rossy, Lelo Nika, Dorado Schmitt, Dick Oatts, Marian Petrescu, Rasmus Faber & Gustavo Bergalli.
Gustav Lundgren is well known within Jazz, Gypsy-Swing and House. He has also composed & recorded music for TV commercials (MTV, TV4) and produced CDs for artists like Jelena Jangfeldt and Hot Club de Suede. Gustav has performed in both TV and Radio in many different countries including the USA.
- In 2004 Gustav was honored with his own signature guitar model from AJL-Guitars.
- In 2005 he received the Louis Armstrong Scholarship.

Biel Ballester studied the advanced degree in classical guitar at the Luthier School in Barcelona, attending a two year course with the teacher and soloist Alex Garrobé and a four year one with Professor Fernando Rodriguez. He has participated in numerous instrumental training courses offered by José Tomás, David Russell, Aniello Desiderio, Marco Socias, Jordi Savall i Hopckinson Smith among others.
His passion for the so-called self Gypsy Jazz has led him to performing numerous concerts and tours in Europe and the USA, being invited to play to the most important Jazz festivals in the old continent. He has also collaborated with some of the most prestigious groups and soloists of this style such as David Reinhardt, Rosenberg and the Rosenberg Trio, Stochelo, Joscho Stephan, Andreas Oberg, Gustav Lundgren, Tim Kliphuis, Stephane Wrembel, Denis Chang, Costel Nitescu, Robin Nolan Trio and Hot Club de Norvège among many others.
Some of his recordings have been chosen to represent the best of international Gypsy Jazz in compilations edited by the norvegian company Hot Club Records and also with the french one Wagram Music which put Biel alongside great international artist and being highly valued his work as a composer.
He has recorded two CDs for the american Refined Records label, one with Hot Club Records alongside its founder, the norwegian guitarist Jon Larsen as well as having released 2 CDs Live in London under the label Le Q Records.
His style of playing Gypsy Jazz is internationally recognized as a unique blend of tradition and Mediterreanean style.
Woody Allen chose two of his songs for the soundtrack of his film "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" and after playing several gigs with Biel said: "This is as close as I will be able toplay with Django Reinhardt"
